Privacy Policy
Copy to Agent for Jira is designed to prepare Jira issue context for manual copy-paste into coding agents while avoiding vendor-side storage and external AI provider calls.
Data the app accesses
The app reads Jira issue information that the current Jira user can already access, including issue metadata, description, comments, relationships, planning fields, and attachment metadata.
How data is processed
Issue data is fetched inside the Forge app using Atlassian Forge bridge APIs and Jira REST APIs. The app converts the data into a visible Markdown bundle that the user can review before copying.
Data storage
The app does not store customer data in Forge storage, browser local storage, or a vendor backend. Generated context is shown in the app interface for the active user session.
External sharing
The app does not send Jira issue content to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, or any other AI provider. Users decide where to paste copied content after reviewing it.
Logs and retention
The app does not intentionally log Jira issue content or end-user data. Because the app does not retain customer data, there is no app-side customer data retention period.
